The Embassy of Italy will open a new Visa Application Centre in Doha for processing visa applications from all residents in Qatar wishing to travel to the Schengen area with Italy as the main destination.
The Italy Visa Application Centre will be officially opened by Ambassador of Italy to Qatar HE Pasquale Salzano on Tuesday at 9 am, as his final act as Italian Head of Mission before departing from Doha at the end of his tenure after the celebration of the National Day of Qatar. A gesture of special attention and gratitude towards all residents in Qatar travelling to Italy and the Schengen area for business, tourism and study.
“After opening last April the new premises of the Embassy of Italy," said the Ambassador of Italy to Qatar. "We are proud to present the new Italy Visa Application Centre, which offers enhanced services in a spacious and welcoming facility located in the heart of the central area of West Bay and close to the venue of the Embassy."
“The Centre has been carefully designed and fit-out to offer an authentic “Italian experience” to all applicants by offering a high level of customer care and premium service packages in order to meet different needs. The Centre also offers a kids area for families.
“The new Italy Visa Application Centre is conceived to showcase the best Italian style in terms of design, comfort and quality of furniture. Special attention is also dedicated to the promotion of Italian touristic destinations in order to provide applicants with travel information.”
The Centre will be open from Sunday to Thursday, from 8 am to 8 pm, to facilitate applicants who are busy in the working hours. During the month of Ramadan the opening hours will be further extended in the evenings.
The new Centre is operated by VFS Global Services provider and it is conveniently located in the central area of West Bay, at the Gate Mall, 6th Floor, Tower 3, also accessible by the new Doha metro, DECC station.
