More rain of varying intensities is expected to hit parts of Qatar from Sunday to Tuesday, thanks to a spell of atmospheric instability that is likely to hold the country in its grip, the Qatar Meteorology Department has said.
The atmospheric instability, the Met said, would unleash “easterly moderate to fresh wind” from Friday, gradually making the weather partly cloudy to cloudy at times. The Met said these conditions make the likelihood of precipitation stronger between Sunday and Tuesday, with the thunder accompanying rainfall in certain areas.
The QMD urged everyone in Qatar to avoid marine activities during this period as waves are expected to rise up to 8 feet during thunderstorms.
