Three of the Middle East’s most popular singers – Rahma Riad, Fahad Al Kubaisi, and Omar Al Abdallat – continued the Qatar Live series of concerts last night with a glittering performance at Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC) to hundreds of residents and visitors.
Qatar Live is a series of special music concerts and festivals organised by Qatar Airways and Qatar National Tourism Council (QNTC), supported by Ooredoo as Platinum Sponsor. The events have been organised to align with the 24th Arabian Gulf Cup Qatar 2019 (26 November to 8 December) and the FIFA Club World Cup Qatar 2019™ (11 to 21 December) to provide world-class entertainment for football fans, visitors, and local residents.
On Friday 13 December, Cheb Khaled and Hatim Ammor will perform at DECC, followed by Katy Perry (15 December), Maluma (16 December), and Maroon 5 (19 December).
For fans of electronic music, Qatar Airways and QNTC are bringing Daydream Festival to Qatar for the first time on 12 and 20 December at the Ritz-Carlton, Doha.
The world-renowned festival takes place each year at different locations around the world, bringing together the best DJs in dance and electronic music.
On 12 December the line-up of DJs includes Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Robin Schulz, Sam Feldt, Matt Sochon and Wankelmut. On 20 December Afrojack, Lost Frequencies, Mark Knight, Steff Da Campo and Matt Sochon will perform at the festival. Tickets for all events can be purchased at qatarlive.qa.
Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive and Secretary-General of QNTC,  Akbar Al Baker, said: “The performances by Rahma Riad, Fahad Al Kubaisi, and Omar Al Abdallat continue a fantastic line-up of world-class music for Qatar Live. It is really exciting that we have some of the Middle East’s most popular singers as well as home-grown talent performing here in Doha, to an audience of music-loving residents and visitors.”
