The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani met on Monday with a US Congress delegation that included Democrats Sean Patrick Maloney from New York, Rick Larsen from Washington and Nanette Barragan from California, at the Amiri Diwan on the occasion of their visit to the country.
During the meeting, they reviewed strategic relations of friendship and cooperation between Qatar and the United States of America, and ways of supporting and strengthening them in various fields, especially in the areas of politics, economy, defense, health and education.
During the meeting, they also exchanged views on regional and international developments.
