The Ministry of Interior takes part in the Qatar IT Conference and Exhibition (QITCOM 2019), organized by the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MoTC). 
The MOI is represented by a number of departments including the General Directorate of Information Systems, Security Systems Department, Cybercrime Security Centre, National Command Center, Communications Department and Electronicand Economic Crimes Department.
The pavilions of the departments at the Ministry of Interior are presenting a large number of security systems and electronic services to the public to introduce the latest systems used for its services. The new initiatives include the automated robot for face recognition, as well as the latest equipment, mechanisms and devices such as drone aircraft. 
The latest systems developed at the National Command Center are also shown, that contribute to the response to disasters and crises, including the crime analysis system.
The Security SystemsDepartment presents the use of modern technological equipment, including drones equipped with cameras to secure various activities, and the robot machine equipped with a number of cameras that are used to serve security tasks in hard-to-reach areas such as confined spaces and others.
The Cybersecurity Center at the pavilion introduces the Center's Central Operations Room, which enables the Center to respond quickly and deal with any potential cyber-attacks.
The Economic and Electronic Crimes Combating Department provides educational presentations on how to deal with economic and electronic crimes, and how to protect personal devices and credentials.
