QATAR and the United Nations Office at Geneva have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on the renovation and modernisation of Hall 19 as an integrated project as a donation from Qatar.
The MoU was signed for Qatar by Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the United Nations in Geneva HE Ali Khalfan al Mansouri and Director of the United Nations Office at Geneva Michael Moller.
Moller thanked Qatar for its efforts and interest in supporting the work of the United Nations by contributing to the improvement of the means of work that would help achieve humanitarian objectives at the international level.
On his part, Ambassador Mansouri stressed Qatar's interest in the project and follow up on its implementation plan as soon as possible in order to provide more facilities through the use of the hall by delegations to discuss various international humanitarian, security and other issues.
