Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA) has announced its support for the launch edition of Building Services Qatar exhibition organised by dmg events doha.
The expo is scheduled to be held at Doha Exhibition and Convention Center from September 24 to 26, 2018.
Ahmed al Obaidli, director of exhibitions at Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA), said,"This exhibition, organised by dmg events doha, comes to Qatar as a result of our agreement with Qatar Financial Centre, which facilitates the establishment of international business events companies in Qatar, with the aim of boosting the sector's growth. QTA is committed to supporting business event organisers and planners to ensure events in Qatar are delivered at the highest standards, and that they attract regional and international business events tourists. Hosting and attracting global business events is a key part of our efforts to develop business events, which is considered one of the priority sub-sectors of tourism in the Qatar National Tourism Strategy."
Andy White, senior vice-president of dmg events, said,"Building Services Qatar will attract over 200 regional and international suppliers, showcasing the latest product innovations in a multi-section show covering seven products sectors: MEP Services, Building Interiors & Finishes, Building Envelope & Special Construction, Construction Tools & Building Materials, Construction Technologies & Innovations, Concrete, and Plant Machinery and Vehicles."
On top of live product demonstrations, Building Services Qatar will feature a variety of educational elements such as a unique internationally certified Continuing Professional Development (CPD) workshop programme, technical seminars and business matchmaking.
The CPD content will explore key market trends, themes and opportunities in transport, education, health, sports, commercial and retail sector related projects, all of which will target thousands of active knowledgeable industry professionals, and investors.
Alongside the development of sports facilities, education, healthcare, transportation and infrastructure projects are enabling the delivery of the FIFA World Cup 2022 and the wider Qatar Vision 2030."When a global event is celebrated, countrywide infrastructure is created. A diversity of sectors will be called upon to expand in Qatar in the coming years," said White."Building Services Qatar will provide each sector with sustainable and innovative building solutions supporting Qatar's Vision 2030, and the legacy of infrastructure linked to Qatar hosting the FIFA World Cup in 2022," he added.
