Qatar Postal Services Company (Q-Post) on Sunday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) for delivering health cards, medical reports, medicines and devices to individuals in their homes and companies throughout Qatar.
Under the MoU, Qatar Post will support Hamad Medical Corporation in certain complementary services such as the delivery of renewed health cards, medical reports, medical devices and medicines to patients.
The MoU was signed by Chairman and Managing Director of Qatar Post Faleh Mohammed al Nuaimi and Deputy Chief Quality Officer and Co-Director for Hamad Healthcare Quality Institute (HHQI) at Hamad Medical Corporation Nasser Saeed Al Nuaimi.
Faleh Nuaimi praised the keenness of HMC on developing safe and effective services. He said Qatar Post, after the launch of the digital transformation process, is in a good position to support HMC in its digital efforts by providing modern postal services in line with the corporation's aspirations.

He said that the Digital Mailroom of Qatar Post will ensure fast and safe delivery of post and that the documents are not lost.
For his part, Nasser al Nuaimi said HMC is proud to work with Qatar Post after the launch of its digital transformation process last September. The partnership will pave way for many projects that will help HMC achieve its strategic objectives of offering services through digitisation and providing safe and effective health care to its patients, he added.
Chief Communications Officer at HMC and Chair of the Healthcare Communications Committee Ali Abdullah al Khater praised the digital transformation programme for services which HMC is seeking to benefit from by launching a delivery service for health cards, medical reports, medicines and medical devices for patients and customers in their locations.
He said HMC seeks to extend its services to the public by benefiting from the technological developments in the framework of its vision to provide the best health care for citizens and residents.
