Buying your favourite fish is now easier in Doha. No more roaming around the markets or long queues in front of the fish stalls in hypermarkets.
An online trader (www.getit.qa) is offering fresh fish at your doorstep and at competitive prices too. You can order the fish on the website or on WhatsApp and pay cash online or when the representative comes to deliver the ordered item at your doorsteps.
Getit.qa began operations in Doha with selling of electronic items online and later expanded their business to include other products such as toys, nuts, dates, spices, fruits, vegetables and fish.
"Even though we have a strong network to deliver things at home from 8 am to 10 pm, in the case of fish, we suggest placing the order before 11.30 am. We deliver the fish cleaned and sliced according to the choice of the customer," an employee of the group said.
Customers can select from the long list of fish on the website after verifying their prices. They can also search for their favourite fish by its name.
Getit.qa also offers a platform for manufacturers and agriculturalists in the country to sell their products.
