Inspired by the illustrious area in Beirut, InterContinental Doha debuts a brand new Lebanese restaurant, Gemmayze, which is all set to elevate Qatar's dining and entertainment scenes. This new restaurant offers diners an authentic Lebanese dining experience topped with sensational live music entertainment by renowned artists amidst a trendy setting.
Officiated by Lebanese Ambassador to Qatar HE Hasan Najem, alongside hotel owner Sheikh Hamad bin Mohamad al Thani, IHG Northern Gulf Operations Director and InterContinental Doha General Manager Andreas Pfister, Gulf Hotels Company General Manager Andreas Petrides and InterContinental Doha Resident Manager Cyril Mouawad, the grand opening was attended by VIPS, distinguished guests, and the media.
The guests enjoyed a selection of Lebanese specialities prepared by Executive Chef Talal Aridi and his team of master chefs, paired with soulful performance by Joseph Nemnom, a renowned musician from Lebanon.
Diners can look forward to an exquisite a la carte menu showcasing a wide variety of cold and hot mezzeh, signature kebbeh and kebbeh nayeh, mixed grilled platter, fresh seafood, and irresistible sweets from the quintessential kunafeh to creative ice cream made with a twist, along with an extensive beverage list.
On weekends, the freshest pastries and saj bread baked from the restaurant's in-house oven, are served with traditional cheeses, eggs, and sweets.
Aside from the extensive a la carte menu boasting Lebanese signatures and favourites, the three set menus guarantee a hearty meal with family and friends.
Starting from QR185 per person for the Gemmayze set menu, QR235 per person for the Gemmayze Bay Menu, and QR325 per person for the Gemmayze Le Grand Menu, each features a selection of cold and hot mezzah, grilled items, and deserts.
"Food has always been a big part of Lebanese culture; where dining is a social affair over great food and company. In Gemmayze, we source and use only the freshest premium ingredients for all our dishes on the menu to provide everyone with an indulgent dining experience," said InterContinental Doha Executive Chef Talal Aridi said.
