MES Indian School recently organised an orientation-cum-interactive session at the school's KG Hall for parents and students of Class X. The session was held in a bid to find ways of improving students' academic performance and to familiarise the parents and the students about the remodelled assessment system of CBSE and the restoration of Class X board exam structure for the current academic year.
Principal Hameeda Kadar elaborated on the new assessment scheme introduced by the CBSE replacing the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) giving a detailed account about the CBSE guidelines on how internal marks are divided among different activities.
The session was attended by over 1,000 parents who were also given parenting tips on confidence building which can help prepare their children become productive global citizens.
