ANTI-Smoking Society Qatar in association with Marriot Marquis City Centre hotel Doha recently organised an orientation programme against the evils of smoking . Society chairman Dr MP Hassan Kunhi inaugurated the workshop.
Kunhi praised the hotel's initiative in conducting an awareness programme and highlighted the importance of social commitment in combating social evils.
Al Sultan Medical Centre Medical Director Dr Dilip Raj delivered the keynote address. He explained the effects of smoking on individuals and the society and urged the participants to help fight against smoking.
Anti-Smoking Society Chief Coordinator Dr Amanulla Vadakkangara and hotel nurse Michelle Mario Astrolabio also spoke on the occasion.
