DPS-Modern School recently held an award ceremony to honour the students of Classes X and XII who excelled academically. The function was attended by the Indian Embassy Information & Education First Secretary Hemant Kumar Dwivedi as chief guest, DPS-MIS President Hassan Chougule and DPS-MIS executive committee members.
Principal Asna Nafees welcomed the guests and congratulated the young achievers who worked hard for their success. She encouraged the students to become role models through their actions and behavior. Chougule commended the students on their achievement and advised them to remain tenacious, committed and resolute in their future endeavours.
Dwivedi complimented the star performers on achieving the first milestone of their lives and the parents for their unfailing and untiring support and persistence.
In all, 135 students from Classes X and XII were awarded with trophies, blue blazers, blue ties, gold and silver medals and merit certificates as a hallmark of true academic genius. The young prodigies, bubbling with enthusiasm and triumphant spirit, marched forward to receive the honours.
