THE Ministry of Education and Higher Education on Wednesday announced the end of the registration period for the elderly and home schooling education for 2017-18 academic year at all government day schools that started on September 10.
In this regard, the Ministry said more than 6,400 male and female students enrolled in the elderly education system, among whom 2,600 joined the evening schooling system at 10 centres.
As part of its keenness on providing education opportunities for all citizens and residents, the State of Qatar developed an elderly learning system that complements the general education system and features several advantages and new registration mechanisms that provide opportunities for those interested in continuing education to achieve their desired goals.
