Ooredoo and Urban Point on Sunday announced a new partnership agreement that will provide Ooredoo customers with free month-long access to all Urban Point offers as well as the option to pay any on-going subscriptions via their Ooredoo bill.
The Urban Point app, which was awarded the Mobile App of the Year 2016 in Qatar, provides discounts to restaurants, cafes, beauty salons, health clubs and fun activities in the country.
Thanks to the new partnership, Ooredoo customers can save heavily on their everyday purchases and enjoy free access to Urban Point for their first month of use, during which they can get an unlimited number of discounts from hundreds of offers specifically negotiated for Urban Point members.
After the free subscription ends, Ooredoo customers can also pay for their Urban Point app subscription (QR15/month) via their Shahry Bill or directly from Hala users credit.
According to Urban Point, an active Urban Point user saves QR278 per month on an average and the hundreds of offers available via the app range from not only 'Buy 1 Get 1 Free' offers, but also to many other promotions that can be used by singles, couples and families.
Many of the brands partnered with Urban Point are popular in Qatar, including Burger King, Applebee's, Zaffran Dining, Noodle House, Biella, Megapolis, Mokarabia, Creative Nails Beauty Salon, Tamarind Indian, Burger Gourmet and many more.
Urban Point subscriptions are not annual and can be cancelled or re-joined on a month-by-month basis. The Urban Point app is available on Android and iOS now. (TNN)
