THE Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC), the organisation responsible for delivering the stadiums for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, has partnered with Commercial Bank (CB) to help workers remit money home safely online with attractive exchange rates and low transaction fees.
The agreement with Commercial Bank allows workers on Supreme Committee projects to transfer wages home using the bank's mobile app in a fast and safe way, without having to travel to exchange houses.
Workers lose an average of two hours every time they choose to send money to their families through exchange houses, owing to travel time and queuing.
A dedicated call centre has also been set up to answer queries related to registration and usage of the remittance solution.
