THE Ministry of Education and Higher Education on Saturday announced the launch of the unified national communication centre hotline (109).
The hotline is an outcome of the ministry's joint cooperation with the Ministry of Transport and Communications aiming to achieve Qatar's e-government 2020 strategy.
The unified national communication centre aims to activate the hotline (109), supporting Qatar's e-government services and extending the communication bridge between the government of Qatar and the public as well as economising time, effort and expenses of governmental institutions. In addition, the hotline will precipitate the execution of Qatar's e-government 2020 strategy with a high-quality that suits the State of Qatar.
The unified national communication centre will raise the quality of government services offered to the public as it operates around the clock, seven days a week. It provides Qatar's citizens and residents with a unified source that addresses their inquiries regarding the e-government services.
