The over two-month-long Qatar Summer Festival (QSF), which attracted thousands of visitors, will conclude on Tuesday.
Organised by Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA), the summer festival's centrepiece Entertainment City featured a variety of games and entertaining activities for children and adults alike.
As part the festival, QTA offered many exciting accommodation packages in hotels across the country.
Shopping promotions began on June 22 to give shoppers ample time to buy goods for the Eid Al Fitr festivities, while other QSF activities started on the first day of Eid Al Fitr.
Participating malls included Al Khor Mall, Doha Festival City, The Mall, Gulf Mall, Mall of Qatar, Lagoona and Landmark Malls with retailers offering discounts up to 50 percent.
On Tuesday, visitors will witness the grand finale of the Qatar Summer Festival at Mall of Qatar.
The activities include a parade throughout the mall that will lead mall-goers to the Oasis for the long-awaited QSF mega raffle draw, which will see 11 winners walk away with cash prizes amounting to QR 300,000 and a luxury car.
The day's events will finally culminate in a public concert.
QTA Director of PR and Communication Saif al Kuwari said,"Over the past few days, we have seen people of all ages visiting the country's most popular places to enjoy various activities and celebrate Eid Al Adha. Nation-wide festivities were made possible, thanks to the extensive collaboration of our partners in the retail, entertainment and hospitality sectors."
"Qatar's citizens, residents and visitors are invited to the QSF's grand finale at Mall of Qatar to mark the end of the country's longest-running summer festival," he said.
The QSF also featured a series of shows during Eid Al Adha festivities.
