QFFD implements Gaza projects Jul 20, 2017 0 481 12345 THE Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) has announced beginning of the third phase of HH Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa City, the biggest residential project in southern Gaza Strip governorate of Khan Yunis.The third Phase of the project is witnessing the construction of 700 apartments at a total cost of $43 million.In a statement on Wednesday, the QFFD stated that the first and second phases were completed in cooperation with the 1,060 apartments done in the first phase and 1,264 others in the second phase, with a total project cost of $113,895,600.The statement pointed that the main roads project (Salah Al Din Street and Al Rasheed Road) is due to be completed in cooperation with Gaza Reconstruction Committee with a length of 68.6 km and the cost of $117,517,900. The second phase of rehabilitation of Salah Al Din Street was completed and the third and fourth phases in Khan Yunis governorate started.
