Hamburg, July 7, 2017 (AFP) -German Chancellor Angela Merkel blasted as"unacceptable" violent anti-capitalist protests that have plagued the G20 host city of Hamburg.
Merkel said she could understand peaceful protests, but demonstrations that"put peoples' lives in danger, put the protesters' own lives in danger... are unacceptable".
