Ministry of Awqaf calls for Eid crescent sighting on Saturday

Doha The Crescent Sighting Committee at the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs (Awqaf) has called on all Muslims living in Qatar to sight the new crescent moon (hilal) of Shawwal on the evening of Saturday, 29th Ramadan 1438H corresponding to June 24. The committee asks whoever witnesses the crescent to head to the headquarters of the ministry located in Al Dafna (Towers), to report his testimony. The committee will meet immediately after Maghreb prayer. (QNA)
