The ongoing blockade of Qatar by its three neighbours seems to have failed to impact the availability of food and other items. A quick tour of commercial complexes and local market will easily convince you as you will notice the availability of national products, which have replaced the imported ones on the shelves at the complexes.
Consumers said they have not noticed any change or decrease in the supply of basic food items or other products, praising the quick reaction by the authorities concerned in the country. They said the authorities didn't make the citizens or residents feel crisis of any kind regarding consumer goods.
They have expressed their gratitude and thanks towards the authorities, pointing at the availability of goods in large quantities at affordable prices. They said the blockade drew the attention towards production of dairy products, meat, poultry, vegetables and fruits, stressing that the national products are of very good quality.
