Qatar Foundation is not affected academically or at the level of construction, operations and programs by the blockade imposed on Qatar by some GCC countries, Executive Vice President of QF Research & Development Dr Hamad al Ibrahim has said. Dr Ibrahim stressed that the real loss resulting of this crisis is the failure to promote education in the region and deprive the students to benefit from QF and its scholarship programmes, especially as it includes a number of the largest international universities that offer the best academic, scientific and research programs. QF will not lose anything on the financial level as it offers scholarship programs for GCC students and guarantees their stay and their expenses, Dr Al-Ibrahim said.
