THE Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) has been continuing to provide healthcare services for citizens and residents of all nationalities as usual, and the siege imposed on Qatar by some neighbouring countries has no impact on its services, the PHCC has said in a statement on Sunday.
Dr Mariam Ali Abdulmalik, managing director of PHCC, said in the statement:"There is no impact on the operation of our health centres under the current circumstances. In line with the vision of our wise leadership, PHCC is committed to providing excellent primary healthcare services to all of our communities, regardless of their nationalities. We will continue to perform our moral and humanitarian obligation to provide healthcare to all the residents of Qatar."
The PHCC confirmed that there are no shortages of medical supplies, rejecting the notion that the current political climate will have an impact on the health services of Qatar. Delivery of and access to medical supplies and medicines are continuing as usual, the statement added. (TNN)
