LOS ANGELES Luis Suarez and his Uruguay side are out of the Copa America but the striker is hoping his teammate Lionel Messi can lift the trophy.

Uruguay had been one of the favourites for the competition but after a 1-0 defeat to Venezuela they were dumped out to the dismay of the Barcelona striker. Luis Suarez also picked up a hamstring injury during the tournament to his disappointment which was a large reason why Uruguay were dumped out so early.
