EMPLOYERS will soon be obliged to register with the Hukoomi website to access their e-Contract system and update their employees' contracts, the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs (MoADLSA) announced on their website on Wednesday.
The employers will be able to register e-Contracts through smart ID card or Hukoomi, the ministry's notice said, adding that the login system will be updated soon to enable use of Hukoomi account or smart card by employers.
It also pointed out that companies will not be registered unless they have a valid Hukoomi account and submit and update all mandatory data in the system.
The employers can also create new contracts for their employees once they submit the basic data of the contract such as visa number, the nationality of the employee, duration of the contract, probation period, basic salary and allowances.
The contract is divided into two sections: the first section is in Arabic language while the second is in the employee's language, the website said.
Employers can view the contracts of their employees at any time and re-print them or download once again.
