Ideal Indian School (IIS) observed World Environment Day with colourful presentations and various conservation awareness programmes. A fancy dress competition on the topic 'Our beautiful Earth' was conducted for Class I and II which saw 120 participants wearing costumes related to saving and protecting the environment.
A speech competition under the theme 'The need of Clean & Green Environment' was conducted for Class III and IV. 130 students spoke about the importance of protecting the environment. The Kindergarten kids also demonstrated their love for Mother Nature through various activities.
Ideal Eco Club also participated with a campaign on energy and water conservation. The club members visited every class conveying the message and stressing on the benefits of saving electricity and water wherever possible. The students were also encouraged to always keep themselves and their surroundings neat and tidy.
