Initio Parfums recently introduced its latest fragrance at a grand launching ceremony at the Marsa Malaz Kempinski, Doha. The launch ceremony included a initiation by Initio Parfums Artistic Director Nadia and had some entertaining high-rope dance performances.
From the 'Les Absolues' collection, a Pandora's box of the most passionate fragrances, comes Addictive Vibration, an object of desire composed by four hands (and two noses) of perfumers Maurice Roucel and Pierre-Constantin Gu`ros.
The fragrance swirls together apple tree petals and orange blossoms, before suddenly sinking into jasmine-tuberose-orchid 'white flower' accord. The trip ends on the waves of Madagascar vanilla pod infused with syrupy honey, along with tonka bean and languid musk, for a warm skin sensation.
From surprise to fascination to enchantment, Addictive Vibration is a brilliant and intriguing composition with the rare ability to lead you by the tip of your nose and hit you right in the heart.
"I wanted to create a completely new addiction, the pleasure of a fragrance that leaves an indelible mark on the mind and body. One that immerses you in pleasure that you want to experience over and over again. A fragrance that makes an addict of the person who wears it and the person who smells it," explains Nadia.
After reading Patrick S'fcskind's novel, Perfume: The Story of a Murderer, she had a revelation: smell weaves its way into the very hearts of men and controls their life, emotions, love, hate and desire. She suddenly grasped the total and immensely enigmatic power of fragrance,"its ability to spark emotions and fantasies".
Initio took form from this desire to offer neo-perfumery with absolute grace and freed from marketing conventions. Perfumery with an intention, one that dares to pump up the volume on the skin.
"The brand's seductive theme is to re-enchant fragrance, to restore all of its aura and mystery and control the infinite power that it has over us. Addictive Vibration was designed like a love potion that miraculously reconciles desire and refinement," said Nadia.
