QS to host training programme today

Qatar General Organization for Standards and Metrology (QS), in cooperation with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), will on Monday host a regional training programme on the management of the process of preparation of programmes and projects of national standards. The programme aims to highlight QS's role as the representative of Qatar in ISO in addition to raising awareness of the activities of standardisation in Qatar, especially through programmes provided by the international organisations for standardisation, notably ISO. The programme will also provide a training opportunity for QS' employees. The training programme will bring together 14 ISO member states. (QNA)
