New fish market at Umm Salal opens

DOHA The new fish market at Umm Salal opened on Sunday. The new central market includes over 60 fish shops, a small vegetable and fruits market, shops for dairy and poultry products, a nursery and administration offices which will function from 6am to 10pm, without a break. A spacious auction yard and fish cleaning area equipped with modern facilities is another features of the market. Fish will be auctioned twice in the market. According to an official of the Ministry of Economy & Commerce, high-level officials from different ministries will visit the market soon.
