Travel advisory for citizens touring Italy in May

DOHA Qatari nationals and their companions, who intend to travel to Italy or from Italy during May 10 to 30, have been urged to take into account potential delays, requiring them to keep their passports with them, according to an official source at the Department of Consular Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The source said the Italian authorities will re-impose temporary border controls on Schengen borders from May 10 to 30 owing to the G-7 Summit to be held in Taormina, Italy, between May 26 and 27.
