The Pakistan International School (PIS) organised a Science & Technology Fair recently. The fair provided young scientists a platform to let their imagination fly and innovate, and get a sneak peek into the research field.
Classes III through XII students participated in the fair, showcasing models in the subjects Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Information Technology. Electric generators, water sensors, quad copter drone camera, ultrasonic door alarm, spy gloves, DNA extraction, cotton candy machine, mobile apps and website designs are a few of the works displayed.
School Principal Nargis Raza Otho lauded the efforts of the students and their teachers in putting up such a creative display of aptitude and innovation."These days, children are keen on learning advancements in science and technology. But they should also be well versed in basic science. This exhibition is an attempt in that direction," she said.
