KEEPING up with its reputation as Qatar's biggest and most popular showcase of chic abayas, as well as traditional Arabic and Khaliji wear, the 9th Heya Arabian Fashion Exhibition being held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC), continues to attract large number of women of various age groups.
Heya exhibition is more than a shopping experience; in addition to the exhibition featuring around 200 designers, visitors are treated to fashion shows, cosmetology tutorials, informative workshops, and fun competitions. Models could also be spotted walking around in the chic outfits of the season, for visitors to take a closer look and have the feel of the latest styles and fabrics.
The exhibition has drawn positive response from guests who were seen placing orders at a large number of boutiques.
Every year, Heya attracts participation from popular Gulf-based designers, some of whom have held fashion shows in Paris and other international fashion capitals and have an established following.
