SHEIKH Eid Charitable Association has launched QR 150 million 'Qutouf' campaign for the Holy Month of Ramadan that includes 24 packages to support charitable and humanitarian, relief, education, construction and development projects in 60 countries around the world.
The packages range from providing disaster relief, food, shelter, medicine, health care for the poor to building of mosques, Islamic centre, digging wells and offering financial support to the orphans and needy families.
The Director General of Sheikh Eid Charitable Association Ali bin Abdullah al Suwaidi said that the 24 packages cover all kinds of charitable work suiting benefactors from all segments of the Qatari community who donate and support charity work. The packages values range from QR3,000 to QR875,000.
Suwaidi said details of 'Qutouf' packages are available at all collection points in commercial complexes. Donations can also be made online through the website of the association and mobile phone application.
