As part of its continuing humanitarian efforts in Myanmar, Qatar Charity (QC) has launched '#Burma_appeal' campaign, aiming to alleviate the suffering of more than half a million Rohingya Muslims in the country.
Despite the social media that has made the globe a small village, humanitarian institutions are still seeking to break the silence over the tragedy of the Rohingya Muslims and provide them with humanitarian aid, QC has said in a press release.
QC has called upon philanthropists to donate to the campaign by texting 'mma' to number 92632 to donate QR50, 92642 to donate QR100, 92428 to donate QR500 or 92429 to donate QR1,000.
Donations can also be made by visiting QC website qcharity.org, by calling 44667711 and visiting QC's offices or collection outlets in markets and malls.
It is worth mentioning that this is not the first QC campaign for the Muslims in Myanmar. 'Burma... till the suffering is over' campaign had been launched earlier and provided humanitarian aid and support to the Rohingya Muslims.
