Some parts of the country received light to heavy rainfall on Monday evening after a dust band enveloped Doha reducing visibility.
The Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) has forecast thundershowers in some parts of the country early on Tuesday as well.
"On Tuesday, weather inshore will be dusty at first, becoming partly cloudy to cloudy with scattered rain. There are chances of thundershowers at places," the QMD said.
The Met department has also warned of strong wind with poor horizontal visibility at first and thundershowers associated with sudden strong wind inshore and, strong wind with sea and thunder rain offshore.
Meanwhile, the rain emergency teams at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) have intensified efforts to pump out rainwater from the streets.
