Tunisian contestant Zeid Ben Houria was sent home in the third episode of 'Fashion Star' Season Two.
The designers were tasked with creating designs inspired by geometric shapes and 3D techniques. The contestants showcased their designs in groups after two days of frantic work.
The first group included Nadim Nemr from Lebanon, whose innovative designs featured well-chosen fabrics and a striking yellow palate, earning him unanimous praise from the judges and five stars for the second time since the show kicked off. Yusra Al Riflawi from Tunisia opted for white and pink, failing to secure the judges' admiration and received no stars following criticism for not heeding given advice. Zeid Ben Houria from Tunisia based his collection on triangular and circular shapes, but made unsuccessful fabric choices and was awarded only two. Both Yusra and Zeid were sent to the elimination zone.
Samar Nasraddine from Saudi created black, brown and light blue designs inspired by circled triangles, receiving four stars and a guaranteed spot on the next episode. Samir Kerzabi from Algeria also earned the judges' approbation for his ingenious designs and was awarded four stars. Jordanian contestant Tatyana Aceeva presented a predominantly black collection and also earned four stars. All three contestants will be going forward in the 'Fashion Star' competition.
The unlucky contestants in the elimination zone were Yusra al Riflawi, Zeid Ben Houria, Nazem Orra and Eddine Belahmadi. Judge Ramzi Tabiat saved Belahmadi, Hanaa Ben Abdesslem saved Riflawi, and Reem Acra sent Zeid Ben Houria home by concluding the episode with her famous sign-off:"You are not the Fashion Star."
