Doha British School in Ain Khaled will hold its annual Spring Fair on March 25. The event promises to be a lively and entertaining day out for the whole family.
"We are very excited about this year's event. We have all worked so hard to make sure that it is the best ever," said Friends of DBS (FoDBS) Community Chairperson Marianne Simonian."Teachers and pupils are running fun-packed stalls while local businesses (like Mini Cooper, Anytime Fitness and many hotels) have also invested into this day."
There will be food galore and a 'Bake Off', performances from musicians and dance, and activities for children that include bouncy castles and face painting. DBS is also hosting its first BBQ provided by Americana. The Ambulance Emergency Services are bringing along an ambulance for guests to see inside, while their paramedics will give a talk about their careers.
"The Spring Fair is a great opportunity for the whole school community to come together to have a fun day. It is my favourite day of the year. Hundreds of teachers, parents and children enjoy the stalls, music, entertainment, games and food," said DBS Principal Terry McGuire.
The gate opens at 10 am with an entrance fee off QR5 per person.
