The first phase of Madinat Al Mawater project, which spreads over an area of 215,677 sqm, has been completed.
Located at the intersection of Rawdat Rashed Road and Salwa Road, the project includes 60 car showrooms with a total area of 18,506 sqm, 176 residential apartments with an area of 14,191 sqm, 10 commercial shops and workshops covering 806 square metres.
Madinat Al Mawater will be the main destination in Qatar for all services related to the sale, purchase and maintenance of used cars and vehicles.
Upon completion of the project, Madinat Al Mawater will include showrooms for used cars, residential units, workshops, as well as a hotel and motel, retail shops and other necessary facilities such as offices of Traffic Department and Civil Defense Department, banks, car insurance companies, petrol stations and Fahes centre service for renewal of vehicle permit.
Barwa Real Estate had awarded the construction contracts for the Phase I of Madinat Al Mawater project to INSHA Contracting & Trading W.L.L Company. The contract value was QR99.85 million.
