Swiss luxury watch brand TAG Heuer introduced CARRERA Calibre 5"RING MASTER" Special Edition Tribute to Muhammad Ali in the Middle East market at Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition on Tuesday.
To create the right ambience, a dummy boxing ring was set up at the exhibition for the launch of this tribute timepiece.
Speaking to Qatar Tribune, Tag Heuer Brand Director, Middle East, Nicolas Pic said,"We confidently look forward to many new innovations this year. Muhammad Ali, Middle East edition, being the first one. The brand had a collaboration agreement with the legend in 2012. Unfortunately, he passed away last year but as a brand we decided to work with the wife of Muhammad Ali to create timepieces to pay tribute to the all-time great boxer."
The brand has introduced two versions of Mohammad Ali tribute timepieces, one for international market and other for the Middle East with Arabic numerals on the dial.
