Kiara Advani, who has featured in films like Fugly and MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, is now gearing up for the release of her forthcoming film Machine. She considers herself lucky that she is not yet slotted in any genre.
"I think I'm very lucky that I have not been slotted yet. In Fugly, I played a raw, earthy and very confident Delhiite. In ...Dhoni, you saw me as a simple innocent first lady of cricket, and in Machine you will see me glamorous and very urban," Kiara said.
The actress will be seen in Machine alongside Mustafa, son of Abbas Burmawala (of Abbas-Mustan duo). She says it's a romantic thriller.
"It's something I have not done. So, I am very lucky that films like this have come my way," she added.
The 24-year-old actress mentioned that it has not been a conscious effort to look for varied roles.
"Because it came my way, so I didn't have to consciously think of breaking away... Roles that have been offered to me, have been very different from what they (filmmakers) have seen me in," Kiara said.
"I am really lucky and blessed that I am getting these opportunities," she added.
