The Sidra Inpatient Clinic is likely to open in January next year, a top official at the Sidra Medical and Research Center has said.
Speaking on the sidelines of the 4th Annual Extracorporeal Life Support Organization (ELSO) -- South West Asian Chapter (SWAC) conference on Saturday, the official said,"We haven't yet opened the inpatient side. The target date for its opening is January 11, 2018."
Sidra Outpatient Clinic welcomed its first patients on May 1 last year. On June 1, it launched several clinics and supporting services including Neonatology, Developmental Paediatrics, Child and Adolescent Mental Health, Paediatric ENT, Paediatric Plastic/Craniofacial Surgery and Pre-Admission Testing.
In addition to the new clinics, the Sidra Outpatient Clinic will also offer new support services including in Anaesthesiology, Post-Anaesthesia Care Unit (PACU) services, Diagnostic Imaging for Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Anaesthesiology, physical and occupational therapy, as well as speech and language pathology and audiology.
