Brazil police target former senator in bribery probe

BRASILIA Brazilian police targeted the son of Senator Edison Lob'e3o, a former energy minister and a prominent politician in a search and seizure operations on Thursday, in an investigation of possible bribes paid during construction of the Belo Monte hydroelectric dam. The corruption probe is known as 'Car Wash,' but other targets were not identified. (Reuters)
