IN light of Qatar's 6th National Sport Day (NSD), KidzMondo Doha offered children an opportunity to cultivate their sporting values and skills through various role playing activities, along with some games and competitions that spread the theme of health and sports, at the recently opened Edutainment City.
The Edutainment city hosted football games, rock climbing sessions, Zumba sessions and a 5 lap race to name a few of the frequented engaging activities along with the ongoing role playing establishments available at KidzMondo Doha. The designated exercises of the day were designed to energise mind and body.
Marking their first year partaking in the national event, KidzMondo Doha made note of distributing Sports Stations across the Edutainment City. Their presence was found near the Fire Station, Race Track, Soccer Court, Police Station, Supermarket and Hospital, to ensure that while the eager Kidizens waited in line for their next activity, the 'edutainers' could detail to the children the type of sports played around the world, and provide them with anecdotes of that sports' origin, history and how that sport exists locally and regionally as part of Qatar's sport culture.
Nabil Barakat, the general manager of KidzMondo Doha, noted:"At KidzMondo Doha, we are mindful of the importance of equipping children with the proper and necessary facts for health and nutrition, and we embraced the idea fully on Qatar's 6th National Sport Day. It is part of our commitment to promote active life and our pledge to educate kids to grow up as champions in their lives and in sports."
He added:"Being located at Mall of Qatar has allowed us to see their tremendous effort exerted for this day, which led us to join forces and sponsor a few of the activities taking place in the mall."
