QATAR Charity (QC) inaugurated the Salman Bin Jassim Cultural Centre in the Italian city of Saronno in the presence of several QC and local officials.
In a press release on Saturday, QC said HE Sheikh Hamad bin Nasser bin Jassim al Thani, Board Chairman of QC, inaugurated the centre, which consists of a mosque, a school and a regular centre to introduce Islam and its principles and values, as well as a range of cultural, social, sporting and leisure facilities and shops.
The statement quoted Sheikh Hamad as saying that"the centre, which QC had contributed to its completion, has become a destination for Muslims from everywhere in the city not only for performing rituals, but also to contribute to the building of the city." (QNA)
