Qatar received scattered light rain on Saturday and the cloudy sky with chances of more rain is expected to continue until Monday.
"Radar has detected scattered light rain in the country, and there are chances of rain until early Monday," said the Qatar Meteorology Department (Met) in a tweet on Saturday.
Met has forecast a 'beautiful weather' until Monday with partly cloudy to cloudy skies and a likelihood of scattered light rain.
Hazy and misty conditions with poor horizontal visibility are also expected to continue.
A noticeable drop in temperatures is predicted with minimum temperatures in the country likely to range between 10 and 13'b0Celsius, and lower in outlying areas, with the windy conditions multiplying the force of cold.
The country is expected to be affected by a ridge of high pressure from Monday until Wednesday, accompanied with fresh to strong winds ranging between 15 and 25 knots reaching 35 kt offshore with high sea warnings exceeding 12 ft in the north.
The Met has urged all to be cautious and to avoid going to the sea during windy conditions as well as to follow latest weather updates and warnings.
