Minister of Municipality and Environment HE Mohammed bin Abdullah al Rumaihi opened Al Wakra Celebration Hall Complex on Wednesday.
This is the third complex after Al Daayen Celebration Hall Complex and Al Refaa Celebration Hall Complex opened by the MME to allow Qatari citizens to hold celebrations, especially marriages at reasonable prices.
The project is being carried out under the supervision of the Private Engineering Office (PEO).
Speaking on the occasion, Rumaihi exhorted Qatari youth to use these halls for their wedding parties to save wedding costs, adding that the new hall will residents of the southern region.
The minister also praised PEO for the construction of all the three complexes and added that the complexes boast of high-quality construction and excellent design.
He also lauded the architectural design of Al Wakra Celebration Hall Complex, adding that it provides all the requirements for weddings according to global upscale standards.
It is noteworthy that the celebration halls complexes are built at the direction of the Emir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani to help reduce wedding costs for young Qataris.
Attention has been paid to maintaining the traditional architectural identity of Qatar in the construction of the celebration halls.
