Qatar Charity (QC) and the King Hussein Cancer Foundation have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to establish a charitable fund to cover treatment costs of less-fortunate patients from different nationalities at the King Hussein Cancer Center at a cost of 250,000 Jordanian Dinars.
The MoU was signed by Saleh Mohammed al Marri, advisor to Qatar Charity CEO, and Nasreen Katamesh, director-general of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation.
Marri said that the agreement signing comes as part of Qatar Charity's vision towards sustainable development through the institutions that seek to provide a decent life for people by enabling them to achieve their needs by providing them medical care services.
The King Hussein Cancer Foundation is the largest community-based organization in Jordan dedicated to combating cancer.
