Doha The Emir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Economic Affairs and Investment (SCEAI), chaired the Council's first meeting for 2017 at the Emiri Diwan on Tuesday. The Deputy Emir HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al Thani, Vice-President of the Council, attended the meeting along with Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al Thani, the Council's Executive Member, and members of the Council. Minister of Finance and Secretary-General of the Council HE Ali Shareef al Emadi said the meeting discussed topics especially in the fields of investment and energy and took appropriate action.
