Advisory Council discusses report on draft law regulating subsidies
The Advisory Council (Shura) discussed the report of the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee on the draft law regulating subsidised goods on Monday and decided to submit its recommendations thereon to the Council of Ministers. Speaker HE Mohamed bin Mubarak al Khulaifi chaired the regular weekly meeting. At the outset of the meeting, Secretary-General HE Fahad bin Mubarak al Khayareen read the agenda, which was approved. Shura committee discusses draft on electricity and water connections
Advisory Council's (Shura) Services and Public Utilities Committee, in its meeting on Monday under Rapporteur Saqr Fahd al Meraikhi, continued its examination of a draft law regulating the supply of electricity and water. The committee decided to invite Minister of Energy and Industry HE Dr Mohammed bin Saleh al Sada to attend the next meeting to offer his view on the draft law. (QNA)
